SPENCERPORT, N.Y. (CNN/YNN ROCHESTER) - A western New York couple planned on having their third son in the hospital, but he couldn't wait that long.

Logan Michael Grapensteter was born around 2 a.m. Wednesday in a McDonald's parking lot in Spencerport. His father Steven said his wife woke up in their home having contractions. They headed to a hospital but didn't quite make it that far.

"We went to the doctor earlier in the day and they said we were looking to induce possibly Thursday and instead here he is. There was no warning, no time. it was just literally 'Steve, I think he's coming.' I heard him cry and we pulled in here and he was here," said Steven.

Paramedics responded to help mom and baby finish their trip to the hospital.

Logan and mom are said to be doing fine. No Happy Meals, though, because McDonald's was not open at the time.
