LYNDSY FONSECA
as ALEX

Lyndsy Fonseca stars as Alex, a young woman with a troubled past, who is now leading a double life in The CW's new drama "Nikita."

A stunning and talented young actress, Fonseca has quickly grabbed attention as one of Hollywood's most vibrant talents. Fonseca recently wrapped production on the John Carpenter thriller "The Ward," opposite Amber Heard and Mamie Gummer, as well as "Fort McCoy," opposite Eric Stoltz and Brendan Fehr. "The Ward" depicts a young woman who is terrorized by a ghost, and in a much different vein, "Fort McCoy" captures the story of a family in Wisconsin who live next to a Nazi POW camp during WWII.

Fonseca was most recently seen starring in two of the year's most anticipated films: in "Hot Tub Time Machine," she starred opposite Hollywood heavy-weights John Cusack, Kate Walsh and Chevy Chase. In "Kick-Ass," Matthew Vaughn's follow-up to the hit "Stardust," she starred opposite Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Moretz. Fonseca will be reprising her role as Katie Deauxma in "Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall," set to be released in 2012.

Fonseca starred on the hit series "Desperate Housewives," opposite Dana Delaney and Nathan Fillion, and had recurring roles on "Big Love" and "How I Met Your Mother." Other television credits include "Boston Public," "CSI," "House" and "Heroes." Fonseca began her career on the daytime drama "The Young and the Restless," in which she starred for three years.

Born in Northern California, Fonseca began acting at the age of 13 and hasn't looked back since.
