New Morning Show Host

MOBILE, Ala. - It’s time to shake off the shackles of the daily news grind. WALA-TV is looking for a one-of-a-kind talent to host a brand new morning show. You provide the personality, energy and creativity…we’ll provide the opportunity to revolutionize morning television in this area.

Located on the Gulf Coast, you’ll be working for the number one television station in the Mobile-Pensacola market. You must be credible, competent and conversational. This is not a news show but you must have strong interviewing skills and be able to discuss a wide range of topics with everyday people, professionals and personalities.

The Host will play a key role in the style and presentation of the program, hosting live and recorded interviews, doing occasional field reporting, and conducting discussions on a wide range of topics. You should be engaging, fun, energetic, web savvy and relatable to viewers from all walks of life. This is truly a rare opportunity for you to let your personality shine. You must be willing to work hard, have fun and occasionally feast on food from the Gulf Coast’s finest chefs.
