Emily Owens M.D. Coming This Fall to CW

BURBANK, CA - A new doctor is in town, and surprisingly to her, her new gig feels like high school all over again. Check out some previews for Emily Owens M.D., coming to Tuesday nights this fall on the CW!

Emily Owens finally feels like an adult! She's put away her geeky, flip-flip, sweats wearing persona and is serving as a first-year intern at Denver Memorial Hospital after graduating medical school.

This is a dream for Emily, as she will have the opportunity to work with world-famous cardiologist Dr. Gina Beckett. An added bonus for Emily is that her med-school crush Will Rider is also an intern.

Emily soon discovers that her high school nemesis, Cassandra Kopelson (the gorgeous popular girl) is also starting out at Denver Memorial. They seemingly become rivals all over again as interns and for Will's affection.

Fellow intern Tyra warns Emily about the Denver Memorial cliques. The high school jocks are now orthopedic surgeons; the mean girls work in plastics; the rebels can be found in the ER; and Tyra's father is the chief resident, making her the principal's kid!

Emily, once again, is the new girl and is feeling just as awkward as she did in high school.

This time around, Emily decides to balance her personal emotions with making life-and-death medical decisions.

Emily gets through the awkwardness with the help of her friends Tyra and Micah.

Emily realizes that even though her roots are of geeky, flip-flop wearing origin, she  may grow to be a great doctor. Sweats and all.
